Eagle Ocean Marine is a Non-IG insurer who are appointed underwriting agents of the American Steamship Owners Mutual Protection and Indemnity Association. Eagle Ocean provides P&I and FD&D cover for smaller vessels offering policy limits of up to USD 500 million and USD 2 million respectively.

Annual written premium increased by 22% in 2017, from USD 8.3 million to USD 10 million.

Eagle Ocean have expanded their team in London whilst also benefitting from utilising the American Club’s network of correspondents and expertise in general marine adjusting, claims handling and surveys.

Eagle Ocean continues to have a significant interest in Southeast Asia and the Far East with over 76% of its insureds originating from the region.
