Carina is a coverholder offering P&I and Legal Defence covers on behalf of various Lloyd's syndicates. It typically provides P&I cover for vessels up to 5,000 gross tons with policy limits of liability up to USD 500 million.

Established in 2013, Carina is managed by Tindall Riley Limited, managers of The Britannia Steam Ship Insurance Association Limited.

Carina increased its premium income by 23% in 2015 to USD 12.3 million, with corresponding tonnage growth of 32% to an approximate 4 million gross tons.

Carina has recently developed a combined product for yacht owners, covering Hull and Machinery, Personal Accident and Fine Art risks alongside P&I.
